Music has always been my great passion, I started singing even before I could talk. Music gives my life an extra dimension and I wish everyone to experience this as well. I studied both classical piano and classical singing at the ArtEZ conservatory (Bachelor) and obtained the degree Master of Music at the Fontys conservatory with distinction for musical vision and professionalism. My voice type is high mezzo-soprano / Zwischenfach (between mezzo-soprano and soprano).

I studied piano with Marjès Benoist and later with Mikhail Markov. I took piano master classes with Ronald Brautigam, Galina Vracheva, Frank Peters and Frank van der Laar, among others. 

​

I took my Bachelor in voice with Lodewijk Meeuwsen and Marjan Kuipers and the Master with Sinan Vural, Margriet van Reisen and partly with Sebastian Vittucci (Vienna). During my vocal training I followed a minor in music theater twice and a minor in opera performance. I took singing masterclasses with Margreet Honig, Jard van Nes and Claudia Visca.

Parallel to my music studies I studied Fine Art at the ArtEZ university of the arts. 

​

In addition to singing concerts with various ensembles and pianists, I teach piano and voice. I already have several years of experience teaching students between the ages of 5 and 89 (!) and every time I discover new ways to help people learn to enjoy singing or playing the piano!
